Dirgantara Indonesia is proven to master aircraft maintenance technology and DQS GmbH Germany rewards Dirgantara Aircraft Services Directorate a Certificate of EN/AS 9110 on Thursday, (23/11) in Bandung, West Java. It is a prestigious certificate in the field of civil and military aircraft maintenance.

The EN/AS 9110 certificate is given by Managing Director DQS (Malaysia), Danny Ng representing DQS GmbH Germany, to Dirgantara Director of Aircraft Services, Dita Ardonni Jafri, witnessed by Dirgantara President Director, Budi Santoso.

Dita Jafri said the certificate shows the commitment of Dirgantara to put quality,

passengers’ safety, and customer satisfaction as the top the priorities of the

corporate services and it involves the DQS credibility as one of international

certification bodies.

Today Dirgantara is the only aircraft maintenance company in Indonesia rewarded such certificate and the sixth one in Asia Pasific. Other countries with such certificates are Boeing Australia Ltd (Australia), Goodrich Aerostructures Service Centre (Singapore), Thales Aerospace Asia Pts Ltd (Singapore), Saben Technics FNI (Tahiti), and Samsung Techwin Co.Ltd (South Korea).

Budi Santoso expresses his satisfaction for this event as two days before Dirgantara Indonesia and Eurocopter signed a cooperation agreement which aims to set up a local assembly line to manufacture airframes for Super Puma MK II helicopters.

Some of the maintenance that are run now at Dirgantara Aircraft Services Directorate are of Batavia’s Air Boeing-737 civil aircraft, of DHC-5 Buffalo , of BO105 Polud, etc. It also does maintenance and modification of CN-235 PK-NZO and maintenance and refurbish of NC212 Aviastar PK-BRM.
