PTDI Supports PT NTP in Enhancing National Energy Industry Capabilities
Bandung (27/08) – PT Dirgantara Indonesia (Persero)
(PTDI) continues to support the strengthening of its Subsidiary’s capabilities
as part of the development of the national industrial ecosystem.
One of the initiatives is carried
out through PT Nusantara Turbin dan Propulsi (PT NTP), a Subsidiary of PTDI
engaged in Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) services for aircraft
engines and industrial turbines. The strengthening of PT NTP’s capabilities was
marked by the inauguration of its Solar Turbines Taurus™ 60 capabilities, as
well as the inauguration of an overhaul-exchange facility and the development
of a Solar Turbines Taurus™ 60 Single Shaft engine facility domestically. The
event took place at PT NTP’s facility in Bandung on Thursday (27/08).
The event was attended by a number
of stakeholders, including Head of SKK Migas Djoko Siswanto, Director of
Development and Production of Pertamina Hulu Energi (PHE) Rachmat Hidajat,
President Director of Pertamina Gas Indra Sembiring, Head of the Center for
Increasing the Use of Domestic Products (P3DN) of the Ministry of Industry Kris
Sasono Ngudi Wibowo, Coordinator of Domestic Oil and Gas Potential Empowerment
at the Directorate General of Oil and Gas, Heru Windiarto, Managing Director of
Asia Pacific South Solar Turbines Darryl Wang, President Director of PT
Indoturbine Deni Budi Kurnianto, President Director of PTDI Gita Amperiawan,
and President Director of PT NTP Suryanto.
PTDI President Director Gita
Amperiawan stated that the development of PT NTP’s capabilities is an important
part of strengthening PTDI’s business ecosystem and MRO capabilities.
“As our Subsidiary, PT NTP has a
focus and expertise in engineering and MRO, particularly for aero engines,
industrial gas turbines, and rotating equipment. The development of PT NTP’s
capabilities is an important part of strengthening PTDI’s business ecosystem
and MRO capabilities. This development is also part of our commitment to
continuously enhance technological mastery and the independence of the domestic
industry.
“Technological mastery must continue
to be supported through the enhancement of human resource competencies,
facility development, and sustainable cooperation with our partners,” added
PTDI President Director Gita Amperiawan.
PT NTP has extensive experience in
supporting Solar Turbines products in Indonesia and has been entrusted as an
Authorized MRO Shop for Solar Turbines in Indonesia. The collaboration between
PT NTP, Solar Turbines, and PT Indoturbine has been established since 1987.
Throughout its development, PT NTP
has continued to enhance its capabilities. With the development of the Taurus™
60 capability, PT NTP is expanding its maintenance and overhaul service
capabilities. The Solar Turbines Taurus™ 60 is an industrial gas turbine used
in various industrial applications, including the oil and gas sector and power
generation.
Meanwhile, PT NTP President Director
Suryanto stated that the development of the Taurus™ 60 capability represents an
important step in responding to the evolving needs of the industry and
improving services for customers.
“Today’s inauguration is not merely
about adding capabilities for PT NTP. More importantly, this momentum is part
of our collective efforts to respond to the dynamic needs of the industry,
provide better services to all our customers, and strengthen national
industrial independence, particularly in the oil and gas sector,” said PT NTP
President Director Suryanto.
The development of the Taurus™ 60
capability is the result of synergy between PT NTP, PT Indoturbine, and Solar
Turbines. It is also part of PTDI’s efforts to strengthen technological
mastery, human resource competencies, and domestic industrial capabilities
through collaboration with strategic partners.
For PTDI, the development of the
Taurus™ 60 capability at PT NTP is part of its efforts to strengthen domestic
industrial and MRO capabilities. Going forward, PTDI will continue to encourage
the development of its Subsidiaries’ capabilities through enhanced
technological mastery, human resource competencies, and collaboration with
strategic partners to support the needs of the national industry.
