PTDI Presents CN235 Gunship at the Singapore Airshow

SINGAPORE - The Singapore Airshow 2020 event is used by PT Dirgantara Indonesia (PTDI) to offer and display various production aircraft of the nation's children, such as CN235-220, NC212i, N219 Nurtanio, and CN235 Gunship.

At the Singapore International Aerospace and Defense exhibition, it is expected to open an international market for products made by the nation's children. Singapore Airshow 2020 is held on 11-16 February 2020 at the Changi Exhibition Center, Singapore.)

"PTDI's participation in this biennial annual event is in an effort to expand marketing and increase sales of various products and services. Sales of aircraft and aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul services," said PT Dirgantara Indonesia (Persero) Corporate Communication & Promotion Manager Adi Prastowo, Tuesday (2/11/2020).

Adi said, at the exhibition PTDI offered CN235-220, NC212i, and N219 Nurtanio's own aircraft. This 19-passenger plane is currently in the process of certification. PTDI targets that in the near future this aircraft will begin mass production.

PTDI's booth at the Singapore Airshow 2020 is at Hall B Number G39. PTDI displays the CN235 Gunship model aircraft. The aircraft uses the General Electric CT7-9C3 turboprop engine which will be armed using a 30mm caliber single canon.

The CN235 Gunship aircraft will also be equipped with other weapon systems, such as the installation of a weapon hanger in a wheel house (sponge undercarriage). PTDI developed the CN235 Gunship aircraft based on market needs, which will be used as support aircraft for ground troops, Combat SAR, sea surveillance, and border line patrols.

"Some countries are used as potential customers, such as the Philippines, Pakistan, United Arab Emirates, Qatar and Senegal," he explained.
In addition, visitors can learn more about the maintenance and service capabilities of PT Nusantara Turbine & Propulsion (NTP), a subsidiary of PTDI participating in the exhibition, which has a trusted advantage in the engineering, maintenance, repair, and repair of gas turbines and equipment spinning.
