Strengthening Aerospace Human Resources Through AMTO, PTDI Signs Several Strategic MoUs at Singapore Airshow 2026
Singapore (03/02) — In an effort to strengthen aerospace human resources (HR) capacity and ensure the sustainability of the national Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul (MRO) program, PT Dirgantara Indonesia (PTDI) signed several Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with PT Vangguar Energi Group, Indonesia Aircraft Maintenance Service Association (IAMSA), Lion Group, and FL Technics Indonesia on the first day of the Singapore Airshow 2026.
These agreements cover cooperation in the development of Training Center facilities and infrastructure, including the recruitment and development of human resources through the Aircraft Maintenance Training Organization (AMTO) scheme, as well as the utilization of each party’s Training Center capabilities.
The signing of these MoUs forms part of PTDI’s long-term commitment to enhancing workforce competence while maintaining the sustainability of the national MRO program. This collaboration also aligns with PTDI’s strategy to strengthen the national MRO ecosystem, particularly in promoting the development of the MRO industry in central and eastern regions of Indonesia.
“Through the signing of these MoUs, PTDI reaffirms its commitment to sustaining the development of aerospace human resources. Strengthening training center facilities and implementing integrated training programs are key elements in ensuring the readiness of the national MRO industry to grow sustainably,” said Moh. Arif Faisal, Director of Commerce, Technology & Development of PTDI.
