Jakarta (BRS) – PT Dirgantara Indonesia (PTDI) recorded positive performance throughout the 2025 fiscal year. At the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGM) of the DEFEND ID Holding Company held in Jakarta on Tuesday (May 26, 2026), the state-owned aerospace company posted a 345.97 percent jump in net profit compared to the 2024 fiscal year. This achievement signals PTDI's strengthening business amidst the increasingly competitive global aerospace industry. Not only financially, PTDI also demonstrated solid operational performance, with a Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reaching 100.65 percent of the target score of 100. This performance was driven by business sector strengthening, technological innovation, human resource development, and optimization of company investments. PTDI is also considered increasingly aggressive in strengthening its position as a national strategic industry that supports Indonesia's defense independence. At the AGM, shareholders also approved changes to the organizational structure and a refreshed board of directors to strengthen the company's future development direction. One of the important decisions was adjusting the nomenclature of director positions to focus more on business development and technology mastery.
The position of Director of Commerce, Technology & Development has now been changed to Director of Commerce & Development, which remains held by Moh. Arif Faisal. Meanwhile, the position of Director of Finance, Risk Management & Human Resources has been simplified to Director of Finance & Human Resources, which is held by Dhias Widhiyati. This step is considered crucial to strengthen the company's focus on technological innovation and risk governance amidst the dynamics of the defense and aerospace industry. PTDI's Director of Commerce & Development, Moh. Arif Faisal, stated that this year's performance achievements provide an important foundation for the company to continue strengthening the competitiveness of the national aerospace industry. "PTDI's performance achievements throughout 2025 are the result of strengthening business, engineering, and production capabilities, as well as strategic collaboration with the entire national defense industry ecosystem within the DEFEND ID Holding," he said. According to him, PTDI will continue to strengthen its mastery of national aerospace technology to support defense independence and increase the competitiveness of the Indonesian industry in the global market. Going forward, PTDI is also preparing a number of strategic steps to maintain healthy and sustainable business growth. The company's focus is directed at improving the quality of project execution, strengthening cash management, optimizing the supply chain, and accelerating the completion of strategic programs. In addition to changes at the board of directors, the GMS also approved changes to the Board of Commissioners. Bagus Puruhito is now the Deputy President Commissioner, replacing Bonar H. Hutagaol. The GMS also approved the appointment of Erwin Dimas as Commissioner. With a strengthened leadership structure and steadily increasing business achievements, PTDI looks ahead with optimism to expand its contribution to the development of the national aerospace industry while strengthening Indonesia's position within the global defense industry chain.
