PTDI Delivers Humanitarian Aid to NTT Disaster Victims via Defend ID Peduli Bencana

BANDUNG — PT Dirgantara Indonesia (PTDI) has distributed humanitarian assistance through the BUMN Peduli Outpost to aid disaster survivors in East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) Province on Saturday (Sept 5).

The relief effort follows the disaster that struck NTT on August 15. PTDI routed the aid via Bank Tabungan Negara (BTN), which will be received by the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB) before direct distribution to affected communities in NTT.

The initiative is part of PTDI’s Corporate Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) program, reflecting the state-owned aerospace company's commitment to community welfare and environmental support.

Distributed under the "Defend ID Peduli Bencana NTT" program, the relief package comprises donations collected from PTDI, PT Nusantara Turbin dan Propulsi (PT NTP), IPTN North America, Inc. (INA, Inc.), and PTDI employees.

"Through the Defend ID Peduli Bencana NTT program, PTDI alongside PT NTP, INA, Inc., and our employees actively contribute to assisting disaster-affected communities in NTT. For us, social care is an integral part of executing PTDI’s TJSL obligations," said PTDI Corporate Secretary Rommy Indahjayanti in an official statement.

She expressed hope that the assistance would benefit the residents of NTT and help meet their daily needs during the ongoing post-disaster recovery phase.

BNPB representative Femmy Bapa noted that the Sikka Regional Government in NTT expressed deep appreciation and gratitude to PTDI for supporting disaster management efforts.

"Once again, we express our gratitude for the support provided by PTDI. May God bless you," Femmy stated.

The assistance delivered by PTDI includes basic necessities such as food supplies, bottled mineral water, instant food, and other daily essentials.
