PTDI Showcases Special Mission Aircraft Capabilities at Singapore Airshow 2026

Singapore (02/02)– PT Dirgantara Indonesia (PTDI) once again participates in the prestigious Singapore Airshow 2026, which will be held from February 3 to 8, 2026, at the Changi Exhibition Centre, Singapore. Located at Booth A-L31, PTDI showcases a range of flagship products with special mission configurations, including the CN235-220 Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) aircraft, the N219 Maritime Surveillance Aircraft (MSA), as well as engineering services products such as the MALE Unmanned Combat Aerial Vehicle (UCAV) “Elang Hitam” and the 70mm FFAR rocket.

PTDI’s participation is further strengthened by the presence of its two subsidiaries, PT Nusantara Turbin & Propulsi (PT NTP), which presents its capabilities in aircraft engine Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) and supporting aerospace engineering services, and IPTN North America, Inc. (INA, Inc.), which supports marketing activities and strengthens PTDI’s network in the American market. PTDI is also supported by the national industrial ecosystem that contributes to the development of its aircraft products in line with customer requirements. Through its participation in Singapore Airshow 2026, PTDI aims to secure aircraft sales contracts and develop strategic partnerships to strengthen its business portfolio and ensure the sustainability of its aircraft programs in both domestic and global markets.

PTDI’s Capability in Developing an Integrated ASW Platform

PTDI showcases the CN235-220M ASW aircraft as a modern maritime patrol platform designed to enhance Maritime Domain Awareness (MDA) and maritime defense capabilities. The aircraft is equipped with the Mission Integration and Management System (MIMS) Airborne developed by Scytalys—a leading Greece-based software development and system integration company—which integrates and manages various sensors to support surveillance, detection, identification, and target classification operations in maritime areas.

The CN235-220M ASW, developed through collaboration between PTDI and Scytalys, is equipped with advanced sensor systems and subsystems, including maritime surveillance radar and self-protection systems such as chaff and flare. All sensor data are processed to generate a Common Tactical Picture (CTP), which is displayed to mission crews and pilots to enhance situational awareness and support command and control functions.

As a versatile special mission platform, the CN235 series has been widely operated by several international customers, including the Turkish Navy and Turkish Coast Guard in Türkiye, the Royal Malaysian Air Force (TUDM), the Korea Coast Guard, and other operators in Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. In line with this operational track record, PTDI continues to actively explore opportunities with potential customers across the Asia-Pacific region.

N219 MSA: An Adaptive Maritime Surveillance Solution for Strategic Waters

At this year’s Singapore Airshow, PTDI also presents the N219 aircraft in its Maritime Surveillance Aircraft (MSA) configuration as an adaptive solution for diverse operational needs and maritime environments. In this configuration, the N219 MSA is designed to enhance data collection and maritime monitoring capabilities through various sensors and mission systems, including an ultra-light maritime surveillance radar with a range of up to 160 nautical miles, Track While Scan (TWS) capability for monitoring more than 200 targets, as well as Electro-Optical/Infrared (EO/IR), Automatic Identification System (AIS), handheld cameras, and tactical data links. All systems are integrated through mission consoles and mission computers.

In terms of performance, the N219 MSA is designed with a radius of action of up to 200 nautical miles, endurance in the operational area of more than two hours, and a total mission time exceeding 5.5 hours, enabling effective maritime patrol and surveillance missions, including Search and Rescue (SAR) operations. The development of the N219 MSA configuration is also carried out in collaboration with Scytalys as a partner in the development and integration of the MIMS Airborne system.

As part of its ongoing commitment to expanding its role and contribution to the global aerospace and defense industry ecosystem, PTDI’s participation in Singapore Airshow 2026 serves as a strategic momentum to demonstrate the Company’s capability in developing and integrating high-technology aerospace platforms that are adaptive to user requirements. Through the presentation of integrated ASW and MSA capabilities on several flagship platforms, as well as various engineering services and defense solutions, PTDI reinforces its position as a reliable strategic partner for national and international stakeholders in supporting defense strengthening, maritime security, and regional stability.
