PTDI Features N219 Cockpit Demonstrator at Monas TNI Fair, Visitors Can Experience Being a Pilot

Visitors planning to attend the TNI Fair at Monas, Central Jakarta, can experience flying an aircraft like a pilot.

This experience is made possible through the N219 cockpit demonstrator brought by PT Dirgantara Indonesia (Persero) or PTDI during the event held on September 19–20, 2026.

Through this cockpit demonstrator, visitors can explore various functions available inside the N219 aircraft cockpit.

The presence of the cockpit demonstrator is part of the products and capabilities showcased by PTDI at TNI Fair 2026.

In this event, PTDI alongside its subsidiary, PT Nusantara Turbin dan Propulsi (PT NTP), presented various aerospace products supporting the operational and defense needs of the TNI.

Several aircraft displayed at indoor booth Kemhan No. 11 include the CN235, NC212i, N219, and several helicopter models. Meanwhile, in the outdoor area, PTDI showcased the Medium Altitude Long Endurance (MALE) Unmanned Aerial System (UAS) Elang Hitam.

A line of rocket products was also exhibited to represent PTDI's capability in developing aerospace products and defense support systems.

Beyond defense needs, PTDI also presented ideas for utilizing aerospace technology to serve public needs. One of which is exploring the development of air ambulance variants using the NC212i and N219 platforms.

The development of air ambulances is aimed at expanding connectivity as well as access to healthcare services for communities across various regions in Indonesia.

PTDI mentioned that this development is open for collaboration with various parties, including the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN).

The use of aircraft as air ambulances is considered highly relevant to Indonesia's condition as an archipelagic nation. Geographical conditions and limited transportation access in several areas pose challenges in delivering fast and equitable healthcare services.

Under these conditions, air transport can be utilized to support medical evacuations, particularly for communities in archipelagic regions, remote areas, or locations with limited land access.
