Supporting the Spirit of BBGRM 2026, PTDI Presents Real Environmental Conservation Action in Cicendo District
Bandung (11/06) – In commemoration of World Environment Day which falls on June 5 2026, which carries the theme "Time to Action for Climate", PT Dirgantara Indonesia (Persero) continues to show its commitment to environmental preservation through various concrete actions. After previously carrying out river cleaning activities around the Company area with the TJSL Team, K3LH Team, PTDI facilities team and the surrounding community, PTDI again participated in the 2026 2026 XXII Community Service and Mutual Cooperation Month (BBGRM) event at the Cicendo District level which took place at Cicendo Square, Bandung City, on Thursday (11/06).
In this activity, PTDI, through the Social and Environmental Responsibility Program (TJSL) together with the Bandung City DPRD, planted durian, avocado and ketapang golden trees in the Cicendo District area. These seeds were previously handed over to the Cicendo District on the occasion of World Environment Day, June 5 2026. This activity is part of the Company's efforts to support the greening of the urban environment, improve air quality, and contribute to reducing carbon emissions through adding green open space.
PTDI's participation in BBGRM activities is in line with the spirit of collaboration and mutual cooperation which is the foundation of sustainable community development. Through synergy between the government, business world and society, various environmental programs can provide wider and more sustainable benefits for the surrounding community.
PTDI Corporate Secretary, Rommy Indah Jayanti, said that this tree planting activity was a concrete manifestation of the Company's commitment. "Every tree planted today is a long-term investment for the environment. We hope that this activity can provide benefits to the community and support the creation of a greener and healthier environment for future generations," he said.
Through a series of activities for World Environment Day 2026, from river cleaning actions to tree planting, PTDI continues to strive to make a real contribution to the environment and society. It is hoped that the spirit of collaboration that is built can encourage the creation of a cleaner, more sustainable and sustainable ecosystem in the city of Bandung.
