IAe Builds Global Network for Humanitarian Aviation Services at IISAR 2026

DESKJABAR – Indonesian Aerospace (IAe) is building a global network to develop humanitarian aviation services through the Indonesia International Smart Aviation & Airport Expo (IISAR) 2026, held on July 9-10, 2026. In addition to its cooperation with Basarnas (National Search and Rescue Agency), the company also held talks with a number of institutions from other countries, offering its products and services.

IAe's Director of Commerce and Development, Moh. Arif Faisal, stated on Friday, July 10, 2026, that IAe's aviation services include humanitarian missions, SAR, disaster response, and others. Through IISAR, IAe met with a number of global and domestic companies as well as stakeholders to build its network.

Moh. Arif Faisal also cited as an example the company's cooperation with American helicopter manufacturer Bell Textron, which has now entered its 40th year. Specifically for the Bell 412 FBX product, IAe has developed it into a multi-mission type, making it a flagship product.

The modification capability of the Bell 412 FBX allows the helicopter to be used for various purposes, ranging from search and rescue (SAR) operations, medical evacuation (medevac), and disaster response, to special operations support. This flexibility is what gives IAe's products a competitive edge in the international market, particularly for countries that need multipurpose helicopter platforms.

According to Moh. Arif Faisal, IAe's participation in IISAR 2026 is a strategic moment to expand cooperation with various operators, rescue agencies, and government institutions from a number of countries. In addition to showcasing its manufacturing and engineering capabilities, IAe also offers after-sales services, maintenance, repair, and modernization of aircraft and helicopters.

Through this strengthening of its international network, IAe hopes to expand its export market while also reinforcing Indonesia's position as one of the region's aerospace industry hubs. The development of humanitarian aviation services is also expected to support disaster preparedness and rescue missions, both domestically and through cross-country cooperation.?
