PTDI Marks Its 50th Anniversary with Commemorative Assembly and Halal Certification Program for Assisted MSMEs in Bandung
DESKJABAR – Celebrating its 50th anniversary, PT Dirgantara
Indonesia (Persero/PTDI) continues to reaffirm its commitment to strengthening
Indonesia’s national aerospace industry while creating meaningful benefits for
the community. This commitment was reflected in the 50th Anniversary
Commemorative Assembly held at the PTDI Delivery Center Apron in Bandung on
Monday, August 24, 2026.
Carrying the theme “Golden Legacy,
Global Horizon: Safeguarding National Sovereignty, Soaring on the World Stage,”
the anniversary celebration served as a momentum for PTDI to reflect on its
five-decade journey while looking ahead to the future challenges of the
aerospace industry.
PTDI President Director, Gita Amperiawan,
said that reaching 50 years is not merely a matter of time, but also a
testament to the hard work and capabilities of Indonesians in building the
national aerospace industry.
“Fifty years is not merely a passage of
time, but a journey marked by the courage to dream big, work hard, rise in the
face of challenges, and prove that Indonesia is capable of standing tall in the
aerospace industry,” said Gita.
Empowering Assisted MSMEs to Move Up the
Value Chain
As part of its 50th anniversary
celebrations, PTDI also carried out Social and Environmental Responsibility
(TJSL) activities in the form of a socialization and facilitation program on
business legality and halal certification for 10 PTDI-assisted Micro, Small,
and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).
The program, held at the PTDI Dharma Wanita
Building, was conducted in collaboration with the West Java Provincial
Investment and One-Stop Integrated Services Agency (DPMPTSP) and Ayo
Halal Consultant.
The MSME entrepreneurs received guidance
and facilitation to obtain a Business Identification Number (NIB) and
halal certification. The initiative is expected to enhance the professionalism
and competitiveness of PTDI-assisted MSMEs while expanding their access to
broader markets.
Mass Circumcision Program and Blood
Donation Drive
PTDI’s contribution to the community was
also demonstrated through a free mass circumcision program for 50 orphaned
children living around the Company’s operational area. The program, carried
out in collaboration between PTDI and the Habiburrahman Mosque Management
Board (DKM), was conducted by medical personnel from the PTDI Polyclinic
and accompanied by the distribution of financial assistance.
In addition, PTDI held a blood donation
drive on August 20–21, 2026, at the PTDI Education and Training
Building. A total of 115 PTDI personnel participated, with all collected
blood distributed through the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) Bandung City.
Entering its fifth decade, PTDI remains
committed to preserving the legacy and experience it has built while continuing
to introduce new innovations to address the challenges of the global aerospace
industry.
The spirit of “Golden Legacy, Global
Horizon” is therefore reflected not only in strengthening the Company’s
business and industrial capabilities, but also in its tangible contributions to
the community and the environment.
