PTDI Turns 50, Empowering MSMEs and Strengthening the Aerospace Industry
BANDUNG, WWW.PASJABAR.COM – PT Dirgantara Indonesia (Persero), also known as PTDI, marks its 50th
anniversary with a renewed commitment to strengthening Indonesia’s national
aerospace industry while expanding its benefits to the community.
PTDI commemorated its 50th anniversary with
a ceremony at the PTDI Delivery Center Apron in Bandung on Monday (August 24,
2026). The event was attended by the Board of Directors, management, and all
PTDI personnel.
This year’s anniversary carries the theme “Golden
Legacy, Global Horizon: Safeguarding National Sovereignty, Soaring on the World
Stage.”
The theme reflects PTDI’s five-decade
journey as well as the Company’s determination to enhance the competitiveness
of Indonesia’s aerospace industry on the global stage.
A Testament to the Capabilities of the
Nation’s People
PTDI President Director Gita Amperiawan
said that PTDI’s 50-year journey represents more than just the Company’s age;
it also reflects the long-standing dedication and struggle of Indonesia’s
aerospace community.
“Fifty years is not merely a passage of
time, but a journey marked by the courage to dream big, work hard, rise in the
face of challenges, and prove that Indonesia is capable of standing tall in the
aerospace industry,” said Gita.
According to him, PTDI’s various
achievements have been built through hard work and confidence in the
capabilities of Indonesia’s human resources.
“The sons and daughters of Indonesia are
capable of creating and contributing to their own skies,” he said.
On the occasion, PTDI also presented awards
for the 2026 Occupational Safety, Health, and Environmental Management
System Implementation Performance.
The awards were presented to several
divisions in the workshop and office categories.
The recognition serves as an appreciation
for the Company’s personnel for their consistent commitment to maintaining
workplace safety, occupational health, and environmental standards.
PTDI Supports MSMEs in Obtaining NIB and
Halal Certification
PTDI’s 50th anniversary commemoration
extended beyond internal activities. The Company also carried out Social and
Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) initiatives aimed at encouraging its
assisted MSMEs to become more professional.
PTDI held a socialization and facilitation
program on business legality and halal certification for its assisted MSMEs at
the PTDI Dharma Wanita Building in Bandung on Monday (August 24, 2026).
PTDI collaborated with the West Java
Provincial Investment and One-Stop Integrated Services Agency (DPMPTSP) and
Ayo Halal Consultant for the program.
A total of 10 PTDI-assisted MSMEs
participated in the socialization. They received guidance and facilitation to
fulfill business legality requirements through the Business Identification
Number (NIB) and obtain halal certification.
The initiative provides opportunities for
PTDI-assisted MSMEs to strengthen consumer confidence while expanding their
market access.
PTDI hopes that compliance with business
legality requirements and halal standards will help the MSMEs develop their
businesses in a more professional and sustainable manner.
Free Mass Circumcision for 50 Orphaned
Children
PTDI also organized social activities for
communities living around the Company.
In collaboration with the Habiburrahman
Mosque Management Board (DKM), the Company held a free mass circumcision
program at the PTDI Habiburrahman Mosque. The program was provided for 50
orphaned children living in the surrounding area.
PTDI involved medical personnel from the
PTDI Polyclinic to provide circumcision services. The Company also provided
financial assistance to the 50 orphaned children who participated in the
program.
The social activity was part of PTDI’s
efforts to deliver direct benefits to communities living around the Company.
Blood Donation Drive Involves 115 PTDI
Personnel
PTDI’s 50th anniversary series also
included a blood donation drive held on August 20–21, 2026, at the PTDI
Education and Training Building.
A total of 115 PTDI personnel
participated in the activity. PTDI subsequently distributed all collected blood
through the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) Bandung City.
The blood donation drive helped meet
community blood needs while supporting the availability of blood supplies in
the Bandung area.
Entering its fifth decade, PTDI remains
committed to preserving the legacy and experience it has built. At the same
time, the Company continues to prepare new initiatives to address developments
in the aerospace industry.
The spirit of “Golden Legacy, Global
Horizon” is reflected not only through PTDI’s efforts to strengthen its
business and industrial capabilities, but also through its tangible
contributions to the community and the environment surrounding the Company.
