PTDI’s 50th Anniversary Marked by Social Initiatives, from MSME Support to Blood Donation

Bandung (BRS) – The 50th anniversary of PT Dirgantara Indonesia (Persero) (PTDI) was not only marked by a commemorative assembly and reflection on the Company’s five-decade journey. The anniversary also featured a range of social initiatives benefiting communities and the environment surrounding the Company on Monday (August 24, 2026).

The series of activities was held alongside the 50th Anniversary Commemorative Assembly of PTDI at the PTDI Delivery Center Apron in Bandung. The assembly was attended by the Board of Directors, management, and all PTDI personnel.

Carrying the theme “Golden Legacy, Global Horizon: Safeguarding National Sovereignty, Soaring on the World Stage,” this year’s anniversary served as an opportunity for PTDI to reaffirm its five-decade journey while strengthening the Company’s contribution amid the challenges facing the national aerospace industry.

PTDI President Director Gita Amperiawan said that reaching 50 years is not merely a milestone in the Company’s journey, but also a reflection of the hard work and contributions of generations of PTDI personnel in building Indonesia’s aerospace industry.

“Fifty years is not merely a passage of time, but a journey marked by the courage to dream big, work hard, rise in the face of challenges, and prove that Indonesia is capable of standing tall in the aerospace industry,” said Gita.

One of the activities held as part of the 50th anniversary was a Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) program featuring socialization and facilitation on business legality and halal certification for PTDI-assisted MSMEs.

The activity, held at the PTDI Dharma Wanita Building, was carried out in collaboration with the West Java Provincial Investment and One-Stop Integrated Services Agency (DPMPTSP) and Ayo Halal Consultant. A total of 10 PTDI-assisted MSMEs participated in the program.

Through this initiative, MSME entrepreneurs received guidance and assistance in fulfilling business legality requirements through the Business Identification Number (NIB) and obtaining halal certification. The initiative is expected to help MSMEs enhance their competitiveness and expand their market access.

“As PTDI enters its 50th year, the Company’s contribution is reflected not only in strengthening the aerospace industry, but also through initiatives that provide direct benefits to the community and our assisted MSMEs,” said Gita.

Another social initiative was held at the PTDI Habiburrahman Mosque in the form of a mass circumcision program organized through a collaboration between PTDI and the Habiburrahman Mosque Management Board (DKM). A total of 50 orphaned children living around the Company’s area received free circumcision services provided by medical personnel from the PTDI Polyclinic. On the same occasion, they also received financial assistance.

Meanwhile, a blood donation drive was held on August 20–21, 2026, at the PTDI Education and Training Building. The activity was attended by 115 PTDI personnel, and all collected blood was distributed through the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) Bandung City to help meet the community’s blood needs.

In addition to the social initiatives, PTDI also presented awards for the 2026 Occupational Safety, Health, and Environmental Management System Implementation Performance to several divisions in the workshop and office categories.

These activities form part of PTDI’s efforts to translate the spirit of “Golden Legacy, Global Horizon” not only into the development of its business and aerospace industry capabilities, but also through its commitment to the community and the environment.

Entering its fifth decade, PTDI aims to preserve the legacy and experience it has built while taking new steps toward a more competitive Indonesian aerospace industry on the global stage.
